Obtain a Certificate of Good Standing

This document from your home country confirms your good character and legal standing. It's an essential requirement for your MM2H application, so be sure to request it early to prevent any delays.

Complete a Health Questionnaire:

Your health matters! Part of the MM2H application includes a health questionnaire—visit your family doctor to complete it accurately. Need assistance or a copy? Message us!

Remember, all MM2H applications must go through licensed tourism operators and the MM2H One Stop Centre for processing, including renewals and appeals. Walk-in or individual submissions are no longer accepted.

How to Apply?

Applying for the Malaysia My Second Home MM2H involves several steps

PREPARE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  1. MM2H Application Form
  2. Passport Copy
  3. Passport-Sized Photos
  4. Personal Bond: Signed by a Malaysian representative from an MM2H licensed company.
  5. Medical Report: Health screening report from a Malaysian hospital.
  6. Financial Proof: Declaration of liquid assets and offshore income.
  7. Intention Letter: Cover letter including:
    • Brief personal background and reason for applying.
    • Plans for relocation (individual or family).
    • Financial details to support your stay in Malaysia.
    • Chosen criteria, such as Fixed Deposit amount.
  8. Resume: Include education, work experience, and skills.
  9. Certified Marriage Certificate: If applying with a spouse.

SUBMIT APPLICATION

REVIEW PROCESS

The review process typically takes around 90 working days.

CONDITIONAL APPROVAL

Once your application is reviewed:

  • If approved, you will receive a Conditional Letter of Approval from the Malaysian Immigration Department.
  • You must fulfill the conditions outlined in the letter—typically including fixed deposits, medical insurance, and a medical report—within six months.

Meeting these conditions is mandatory for the final issuance of your MM2H visa.

VISIT MALAYSIA

After receiving the conditional approval, visit Malaysia to complete the necessary formalities. This includes:

  • Opening a Fixed Deposit Account : As per financial requirements
  • Purchasing Medical Insurance : From a Malaysian provider
  • Paying the Visa Fee : For the MM2H social visit pass

FINAL APPROVAL AND VISA ISSUANCE

Complete the immigration process and receive your MM2H visa for long-term stay in Malaysia. Processing usually takes 3 to 6 months, as authorities carefully review each application.
